Tamil is one of the National languages of Singapore, and the Tamils there have proved their point. The first Tamil feature film made by Singaporeans is in the making and will hit screens soon.
Blue River Pictures presents, in association with Singapore Film Commission, Gurushetram 24 Hours of Anger, starring Vishnu, Sivakumar, Mathiazhagan, Rajesh Kannan, Gunalan and many others. Releasing the movie is Golden Village theatres.
Insiders reveal that the movie, chronicles the trials and tribulations of the hero and how he overcomes several obstacles in the mission to protect his mentally challenged brother. The movie is directed by T T Dhavamani, who previously made films like Match Stick, Padigal and Guru Parvai.
Behind the scenes, Dhavamani collaborated with many of his long-time associates, including director of photography Lucas Jodogne from Belgium, production designer Veeraraghavan, and editor Praveen. The original score is by Rafee who worked in Jaggubhai before. Also part of the movie is Sherif Moideen, the winner of Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva dance show.
The makers of the movie are really proud to associate themselves in Singapores first Tamil movie that will be screened at Golden Village cinemas from 8th April 2010.
